The Most Anticipated Games Of 2021

Though 2020 may be an unfortunate year for many of us, there is no denying that the gaming community has still enjoyed quite a great deal. Many games got released in the last year. Some had glitches inside the game, while some had games inside a glitch. You know what I mean.

Apart from that, there were some reasonable game releases too. The highly anticipated PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X raised us gamers' excite-ness level to a whole new level.

2021 is the year, and this year we are about to experience games that most of us have been waiting for since year. Although some games' release date is still unconfirmed, we are highly optimistic that these games would be released before the last dawn of this year.

1.Deathloop

There’s no debate that FPS shooting games have become quite a cliché now. We see the same story, same violence, and the same stereotypes in these games. That is why Deathloop will come to save the day.

I mean, who wouldn’t want an FPS shooting game that comes with General X music, camps, and spying thrillers. You’re an assassin here who has to finish his 8 targets before getting knocked up by Julianna –the secret agent.

Deathloop will be available for PlayStation5.

2.God Of War Sequel

This Norse-inspired game is keeping many gamers anxious about its release. Since the 2018 first instalment, God of War has become a classic game with a strong protagonist. Godly strong.

Prepare as Kratos and Atreus, his son, journey open-world adventures, unexplored dimensions, and beyond.

God of War sequel is scheduled to release this year, and it will be available on PlayStation 5. The PS4 compatibility hasn’t been announced yet.

3. Hitman 3

The Hitman game franchise is a well-known assassination game series. The Hitman 1 and 2 were released to rave reviews, and now Hitman 3 will come with a bang. Those playing the former will be able to import maps into the latest game.

Be ready as Agent 47 will do planned assassinations in large open locations. You can hunt, spy, disguise, and do many other stunts.

Hitman 3 will be available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One/ Series X/ Series S, Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.

4. Psychonauts 2

Remember the hype of Psychonauts in 2005?  You become Raz, a special kid with psychic abilities, who then makes friends with other superpower enabled kids.

Well, it’s coming again but with more psychic powers, better graphics, and bigger scenarios.

People are hopeful of playing Psychonauts 2 before 2022. It would be available on PC, Linux, macOS, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

5. Halo Infinite

Just like Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite is one of the most anticipated games in years. We hope they don’t repeat the early-release mistake, but we can’t wait for it too.

The game preview was received with lots of criticism as the viewers were expecting more. The game team is determined to fix the issues by putting the game's original writer back on the team.

Halo Infinite might release this year on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Where are you, Sony?

6. Super Mario 3D World: Bowser’s Fury

It seems like our boy Mario is back in the fields. The new franchise of Super Mario would consist of the latest upscaled textures, beautiful rendering, and of course, new Mario Worlds.

You will be able to play Super Mario online with friends in 3D.

The Super Mario 3D World will be featured as the latest co-op game for the Nintendo Switch. We might play it in 2021.

7. Far Cry 6

Far Cry is not just a simple game; it is a journey. We have been playing with our dear Giancarlo Esposito for a while now, and he hasn’t disappointed us so far. This game is revolutionary in many ways. We’re just hoping that its sixth instalment will live up to the previous standard.

The developing company Ubisoft claims to re-invent many of the classic scenarios from the previous versions. Let’s hope that the developers can come up with something new and impressive. Till then, we have to wait.

Far Cry 6 will be available for PC and Stadia users. PS4 and PS5 users as well as Xbox Series X/S and One can play it too.

8. Horizon Forbidden West

If you’re a fan of post-apocalyptic games, then Horizon Forbidden West is for you. You get to become a tribesman who has to combat a human-made robotic world. You are Aloy, determined to know more about the secrets of the past.

The trailer and graphics of the game seem promising, so let’s wait and see if the game gets its release this year. Horizon Forbidden West will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5.

9.Cyber Shadow

Do you want to play a game with the same aesthetics we found in the Contra? If yes, then Cyber Shadow will provide you the action and story. The game is set in a fictional futuristic world called Mekacity, where you must survive as a Ninja.

The game seems promising, and I cannot wait to play it on my PC. You can play it on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch too.

10. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

This sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice might release this year to astound gamers. This game is pure art. You experience hell, emotional roller coasters, mental psychosis, and many unexplained situations.

What this sequel might hold is still a mystery, but I think that it might become the best game released in 2021 (if released).

The game will be available for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Conclusion

2021 is going to be excellent for gamers with many anticipated releases.  Till then, let’s hope they fix Cyberpunk 2077 glitches soon.
